Axelle Fanyo and Tokiko Hosoya: winnaars Liedconcours

Het recital in Ruinen.

’s Morgens tussen 10 en 11 treden de winnaars op in het Concertgebouw in het programma Spiegelzaal van NPO radio 4. Daarna komen ze naar Ruinen.

Axelle Fanyo and Tokiko Hosoya

Axelle and Tokiko met in 2012 at the Paris Conservatory while Axelle was majoring in vocal performance and Tokiko in vocal accompaniment. They were studying under the instruction of Anne Le Bozec. Since then, they have been working together regularly, performing at various venues, including the Petit Palais in Paris, the Armenian Cathedral of Paris, as well as the House of Lili and Nadia Boulanger in Gargenville, France, where the sisters used to live. In 2014, Axelle and Tokiko were invited to the Music Festival ‘Printemps des Alizes’ in Marrakech, Maroc.

Axelle, soprano, studies with Alain Buet at the Conservatory National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP). Additionally, she takes lessons with Glenn Chambers. She took a masterclass on French repertoire with Mireille Delunsch and another masterclass with Jeff Cohen on American répertoire.

Tokiko obtained her Master's degree from the Paris Conservatory, specialising in piano, opera and lied accompaniment. She has also studied at the Hannover Hochschule on an exchange program. Among her teachers were Michel Beroff, Erika Guiomar, and Jan Philipe Schulze. She has participated in the European Academy at the festival of Aix-en-Provence and the Weimar opera studio as a repetitor.

Informatie over het Concours.

Het Internationaal Studenten LiedDuo Concours wordt op 10-12 april voor de vierde maal gehouden in Enschede.

Er nemen 30 duo’s zang en piano uit heel Europa aan het Concours deel.

De jury bestaat dit jaar uit de pianisten Hans Eijsackers, Rudolf Jansen en Thomas Steinhöfel, de zangers Olaf Bär, Carolyn Watkinson en Johannette Zomer, pianist en artistiek directeur Marien van Nieukerken, en voorzitter Ad 's Gravesande.

Behalve geldprijzen zijn er concertprijzen te winnen die een belangrijke opstap vormen voor een concertcarrière. Een deel van deze concerten wordt aangeboden door de Vereniging Vrienden van het Lied. Bovendien krijgen finalisten een startbewijs voor het Internationaal Vocalisten Concours 's Hertogenbosch.
